Nawabshah Homoeopathic Medical College

INTRODUCTION
Homoeopathic Medical Science is recognized as one of the systems of Medicine by Government of Pakistan in 1965 through Act, is practiced throughout the country.
Prior to 1951 there was No Homoeopathic College to Produce qualified and trained Homeopathic Physicians and also taking into consideration the change in the attitude of the public to avail homeopathic treatment, it was felt necessary to established an institutions for development of Homoeopathy, its educations and research. The Homoeopaths of Karachi established first Homoeopathic College, In 1951, under the leadership of late Dr. M.A. Malik, M.D. the Federal Minister for Health including late Dr. U.A. Pasha, to impart medical education in Homoeopathy and produce institutionally qualified and trained physicians.
The Nawabshah Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital is the 2nd Homoeopathic Medical College of Interior Sindh and established in 1997 . It is being managed by elected governing body comprising of prominent homoeopathic. The teaching staff and the medical officers are qualified and experienced physicians.
Homoeopathy has established itself as one of the systems of Medicine and inspite of development in modern medicine it has survived. More and more people are availing the Homoeopathic treatment. As well as efficacy of homoeopathic treatment its growing acceptance by the people of Pakistan as well as people of Nawabshah has established its first homoeopathic indoor Hospital within the college premises, The dispensary in College to the serving as teaching institute to the student. Beside this patient also being availing homeopathic treatment and management. There is therefore great scope for young people to take up this noble Profession to serve the ailing humanity because of its efficacy and day growing popularity.

Facilities
1. The College shall arrange to provide facilities for as many indoor/outdoor games as possible for the staff and students but students not allowed to involve themselves in any kind of activity directed.
a. Against the spirit and principal of Quran & Sunnah.
b. Against the objectives and interest of the College and its administration.
c. No game shall be played during the College or Hospital duty hours.
d. All Student of the College can take part in any one more of those games according to their choices.
2. Lectures by distinguished visitors shall be arranged on approval of the Principal/Secretary of the governing body.
3. Visits to places of scientific, historical and cultured interest can be arranged for the Students.
4. All students of the College will be members of the College Student’s Council which aims to organize and coordinate the members, under the direction of the Principal. The council will conduct only the following activities:-
  I. Sports.
  II. College Magazine, the Magazine will be published and will contain scientific and general articles by staff and the student and record the activities of the college and students. The Magazine will be produced by the an Editorial Board Consisting of the staff and the students.
  III. Clinical Society.
  IV. Social and Dramatic Society. The Society in addition to an annual drama may also arrange various other social activities.
  V. Debating Society.
  VI. Students Lending Library.
